Would you be able to post a benefit bike ride on your calendar for the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Worcester (www.ihnworcester.org), a homeless shelter for children and families in Worcester? Here’s our blurb: 5th Annual Ride for a Reason – a benefit bike ride for all abilities in support of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Worcester (a homeless shelter serving homeless families with children in Worcester County). Saturday, September 27, 9:00 am (Registration opens at 8:00 am). Start/Finish at the First Congregational Church of West Boylston, MA (26 Central St). Ride either a 5, 15, or 30 mile scenic route along the rolling roads/trails of W. Bolyston, Sterling and Princeton and Holden, alongside rivers and reservoirs, ending with a celebration (complimentary) picnic for all participants. Registration is $10 (with a commitment of fundraise a minimum of $200) or $65/per person. A team of five or more can register for $40/rider. The 15 and 30 mile routes are suitable for older children and adults (under 16 must ride with an adult). The 5 mile route is off-road, along the rail trail and suitable for all-ages and abilities. Families and children can ride the full 5 miles (2.5 miles out and back) or turn around at any point.
